Finally spotted: Decent, actually great, Mexican joint in Singapore. The pictured truffle mushroom quesadilla was packed with bold flavours of charred mushroom making this vegetarian option quite filling. Props to their authentic spices and sauces, especially their fresh salsa asada, for adding complexity to all dishes. Although their guacamole was served in good thick consistency, it was rather tasteless and under seasoned. Fresh octopus ceviche was also noteworthy, but extra squeeze of lemon didn’t entirely solve the lack of seasoning. But those are my picky small complaints. Lucha Loco still ranks top on my Mexican list. I’m going back for more Latino cervezas (Corona and Sol) and authentic tequila.
